About Our Practice
Russell Equine strives to provide timely, professional service for our clients and their horses. As a result, all our active veterinarians are certified as FEI-treating veterinarians. Appointments are available at our home base; however, with two fully stocked mobile units, Russell Equine is able to bring the best of the clinic to your farm. The majority of our services offered are able to be done right in your barn for your and your horse's convenience. Our services range from Emergency, Dentistry, Diagnostic Imaging, Sports Medicine, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, etc.
About Our Area
Russell Equine Veterinary Service resides on the grounds of Hamstan Farm in Russell, Ontario. It includes many advantages for its clients like a half-mile racetrack, round pen access, a modern stabling and hospital facility, and more. With the union of the two practices, Dr. Carole Michon's and Dr. Garth Henry's, Russell Equine has become the largest equine-only veterinary clinic in Eastern Ontario. It has also ranked as one of the largest equine-only clinics in Canada east of Toronto.
